High-speed Catching System (exhibited in National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation since 2005)
Summary
A multifingered hand system which can catch a thrown ball at a
high-speed (0.1s) by visual feedback control is developed.
It has been exhibited in
National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation since July 2005.
This system is developed in cooperation with SEIKO Precision, Inc.(former) (Catching System and Visual Feedback Control)and Harmonic Drive Systems, Inc.(High-speed Hand Mechanism).
